1. Last night was the Private View of the exhibition showcasing the Panorama East Project - exploring the 600 buildings that lie between Aldgate and Bow with a mine of historical information unearthed by a team of volunteers, local people’s views & memories and archive images. I had the pleasure of producing the panorama image itself for the Building Exploratory, while Studio Baum made the wesbsite. The exhibition, which also includes some great photographs by the Cass’ Sue Andrews, is on until 21st March - full details here.

  3. Searching for some files I came across some images of this lamp I made around 10 years ago … one of a series exploring the way you can filter light with cheap/discarded materials. When I find some time I’ll come back to this!

  9. A postcard from Stratford - I joined a friend to watch some Olympic Bastketball yesterday morning and spent the rest of the day pottering around the Olympic Park. Great day. For my t’pence there is a fair amount that concerns me around the Games and the future of the Park, some things are laughable and some more worrying. At the same time there is a great atmosphere down there, some great work by Populous, Hadid, John McAslan, Nord, Hargreaves et al and I’m really glad I got the chance to have a look!
